Saved Views allow you to customize your filters and column selections and save those selections combined into a saved view, which enables you to easily access and utilize those selections without having to individually re-choose your filters and columns.
How to Save a View
Once you have chosen the Filters and Columns you wish to save to a view, click the save icon (
); you can then elect to update the view you are using, or to save the changes as a new view:
Saving as a new view allows you to name the view, elect to set it as the Default View for that table (you can set a Default View for all Project Details pages, your Projects List page, and your Items List page), and choose whether or not to share the view with other Staff users by making it public:
How to Apply a View
When you are working, if you wish to change the view that you are using, click on the "View" menu and select a Saved View from the menu. This will then apply it to the table you are looking at:
How to Customize View Settings
For your Projects List page and your Items List page, you can elect to bookmark your saved views, which will add them to the left-hand menu. You can also reorder the views in that menu, change the icons associated to them, manage public/private settings, and even elect to remove the System Views. To access this menu, hover your mouse over the section you wish to customize, click on the ellipsis, and select "Manage Views":
This will then present you with a menu from which you can make changes. Click on the icon next to the View to change the icon associated to that view, click on the star to the right of the view to set it as the Default View for the table, click on the bookmark icon (
) to add or remove the view from your sidebar navigation, click on the people icon (
) to add or remove public sharing, and click on the trash can icon (
) to delete the view:
You can also re-order the views by clicking to the left of the view you wish to reorder and clicking and dragging it to the position you wish it to be in. If a view is bookmarked this will affect its position in the left-hand menu:
