How to Use Contact Tags

What are Contact tags? How to use Company Tags. How to use Staff tags.

On your Client and Staff pages you have the option of creating and using a set of tags specifically for Contacts. Please note that the same list of tags is used for both Staff and Clients.

Managing Client Tags

To manage the tags on a Client Company, navigate to your Client page, hover over the company you wish to tag, and click the ellipsis next to the company in question:

On that menu select "Tags" to add and manage tags:

From this menu you can either select an existing tag or tags to tag the Company, or click "+ Create" to add a new tag:

Hover over the tag and a pop-up will appear with the name of the tag:

To manage the Company tags for a Client Company Contact, click on the name of that person to bring up their contact card, then click the tag button () to open the tags selector for that Client Contact:

Managing Staff Tags

To add a tag to a Staff member, navigate to the Staff page, then hover over the Staff member you wish to tag, and click the ellipsis on the right side, then select Tags:

From here you can choose to add an existing Tag, or click "Create New" to add a new Tag:

Your tag is then applied to the Staff member. Hovering over the tag displays the name of the tag:

You can also manage Staff tags by clicking on the name of the Staff member to open up their contact card, then clicking on the tagsymbol to bring up the edit Tags pop-up:

Editing and Deleting Existing Tags

Whether you are viewing Tags on a Staff, Client Company, or Client Contact, to edit the existing Tags you have created hover over the Tag you wish to edit, then click the trash can icon to delete, or the pencil icon to edit:

Editing will allow you to change the name or color of the tag:
