It is possible to track time anywhere in the system with a time value shown in the format (0:00), or the  icon.

Automatic Time Tracking

Automatic time tracking works on a clock in/clock out system. A user tells ProWorkflow when they have started working and when they have finished and ProWorkflow calculates the time worked automatically.

How to Start Timing:
  • Either click the small time icon
  • Or click the time figure (0:00), then in the pop-up window click the stop-watch in the top right.
  • The small time icon will change to
  • The large stop-watch icon will change to what is shown below.

While ProWorkflow is tracking time, the status bar (at the top of the page) will display 'Timing on: {Task name}'  and next to this will be 'Stop / Pause'.
  • Clicking Pause stops the current time record but leaves the task in the header so a user can start tracking a new record for the same task by simply clicking Start.
  • Clicking Stop stops the current time record, and removes the task from the header.
  • Clicking {Task Name} brings up the time records for that task, where a user can edit or delete previous time records
NOTE: If a user is already tracking a task and starts tracking a new task then ProWorkflow will automatically stop tracking the original task.
