To Add a new Category:
- Click 'CONTACTS Manager' on the left nav bar.
- Click 'New Category', a new pop-up window will open.
- Use the text box next to 'Category Name' to enter the Category Name.
- Use the text box next to 'Display Order' to enter the order number, categories will be listed in ascending display order. If two categories have the same order number they will be listed alphabetically.
- Click 'FINISH'.
To Edit a Category:
- Click 'CONTACTS Manager' on the left nav bar.
- Click 'Companies Page'.
- If 'Active' is shown next to 'Display' then click it, if 'Deleted' is shown then move to step 4.
- Use the drop-down boxes to select the 'Category' that needs to be edited.
- Click 'Edit', this will appear in the left corner just below the search/filter box.
- Use the text box next to 'Category Name' to enter the Category Name.
- Use the text box next to 'Display Order' to enter the order number, categories will be listed in ascending display order. If two categories have the same order number they will be listed alphabetically.
- Click 'FINISH'.
To Delete a Category:
- Click 'CONTACTS Manager' on the left nav bar.
- Click 'Companies Page'.
- If 'Active' is shown next to 'Display' then click it, if 'Deleted' is shown then move to step 4.
- Use the drop-down boxes to select the 'Category' that needs to be edited.
- Click 'Del', this will appear in the left corner just below the search/filter box. Click 'Ok' on the confirmation prompt.
Note: Any companies that were in the deleted category will not be deleted and can be found by searching in the normal way using 'All Companies' as the category.
